We recruit primarily for two role types across both Ideal Roofing and Ideal Asset Maintenance. If you hold your licence and take your trade seriously, we'd like to hear from you — even if we don't have a current opening listed.
Trade Role
Licensed Roof Plumber
Our core trade role — licensed roof plumbers who can work independently on commercial and industrial roofing systems, carry out intrusive inspections correctly, and complete repairs and maintenance to Australian Standards. Experience in commercial metal roofing systems is highly regarded.
- Current roof plumbing licence required
- Commercial roofing experience preferred
- Metal roofing and wall cladding system knowledge
- Comfortable working at height on commercial buildings
- Valid driver's licence — company vehicle provided
- WHS awareness and a safety-first approach to every job
Apprenticeship
Roof Plumbing Apprentice
We take on roof plumbing apprentices and invest in training them properly — in commercial and industrial environments where the standards are high and the work is diverse. If you're serious about a trade career in roofing, we're serious about developing you.
- No prior roofing experience required
- Willingness to learn and follow instruction on site
- Physical fitness and comfort working at height
- Valid driver's licence (or working towards one)
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
- Genuine interest in a long-term trade career
